Ryan Pediatrics is a local pediatrician in the Houston area, seeking a more contemporary professional design that would also be welcoming for children. Though their office was small the desired outcome was to create a brand that would feel more professional, as if apart of a larger entity and allow the parents to feel more at ease with the excellence of the care for their children. However the branding needed to also not be so clean that it would be unapproachable or off-putting for children. The solution was to create a bright, interchangeable color palette and turn the scary sights of a doctors office for children, into more fun and approachable icons, thus taking the fear out of going to the doctor’s office for kids.
With the goal in mind of making the scary sights, sounds, and feelings of a doctors office to a child, feel more familiar and safe, Ryan Pediatrics branding was made to ease the fears of children. By bringing out the fearful objects and making them more familiar as tools and icons to children with bright colors, the goal is to calm the children and thus the stress of the parents in an otherwise unsettling environment.
